So — should I cave in and use a proper blogging software to maintain the “blog” part of this website? I’m thinking I probably should, though we all know I love reinventing the wheel and the task of adding comments to the ghetto system I use to manage this site could be very entertaining. (Bearing in mind my strange sense of entertainment.) Against the reasonable arguments for using blogging software, numerous and quite convincing as they are, I have to ask, “If I cave in, where will I get my petty feelings of unrealistic self-importance from?” This path towards sensible behavior and the following of established Internet decorum could be dangerous for me. Really.
