Microsoft Cuts Anti-Virus Support For Unix / Linux
Is this a new strategy in Microsoftland: buy companies that make software for Unix / Linux and have them stop making that software?
It’s a surprisingly effective way to exploit being filthy rich in one’s attempt to destroy a competitor and as long as the amount of money one spends in stopping production of software is small relative to the amount of money one loses to the competitor, it’s also economically wise.
Of course, it makes the world a shittier place to pursue one’s aims in this way, but that’s not important, right?
By the way, the invisible hand’s invisible because it doesn’t exist.
