What experiences life affords us drummers! I have watched my feeling of physical focus go from my feet to my hands in the last few years. By focus, I mean to describe the area in my body which the other areas of the body follow, the area that keeps time properly as a lead for the others. To see it move through the body is an incredibly odd and beautiful experience.
