Of all the things my friends have said recently that I had meant to post online, the one thing that I can still recall clearly was actually one I don’t think we said should be a Quote Of The Day:
Sergeant: You, Fernandez, get over there. You’re going to be part of Operation Human Shield.
Fernandez: But I’m white!
Sergeant: Your last name’s Fernandez, so go get over there! (Pauses.) You, White, come here. You’re going to be part of Operation Get Behind The Brownies.
White: Yes, sir!1
